The song has nothing to do with African Americans, it has everything to do with the word nigger itself. It is a demarcation that demotes someone to the status of a good; a commodity. In the health care debate women have been shoved aside and told they don't matter. Have you read the anti-abortion rhetoric that got the bill passed? Woman are constantly being lowered and not allowed their basic human rights or the proper respect.<br />I write that as a man; remember that words carry a deep meaning, especially something like nigger.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
